STIKES Eka Harap at the beginning of the 1989/1990 academic year was from the Eka Harapan Health Nursing School based on permission from the Pusdiknakes dated June 24, 1989 number: 148 / Kep / Diknakes / VI / 1989, and is the only health education managed by the private sector, namely the Eka Harapan Palangka Raya Foundation, which aims to accelerate the fulfillment of health workers, especially nurses in Central Kalimantan, because at that time the only health education provider was the Palangka Raya Health Nursing School of the Ministry of Health. Since its inception, the Eka Harapan Palangka Raya Foundation has been committed to participating in building Central Kalimantan in the field of Health education with the hope that after graduating, they will return to their regions to devote themselves, especially in the field of public health.
